Alice in Wonderland Mad Hatter Tea Party for the modern girl.

I got napkins and plates from the "poker party" section of the party supply store. We chose the ones that only had cards and not any chips or $ signs on them. I focused onthe red Queen (from the Disney version of the story) and her desire to "paint the roses red". I made white chocolate roses in a candy mold and painted them with red chocolate just a little bit across the edges to make it look like the pictures in the book and the scenes from the movie. I also purchased red and white silk roses and used them as the centerpiece on the tables.

I made little cards that said "eat me" and "drink me" and placed them on the table with the food and beverages. I also made mini-cupcakes with tiny red heart candies on top and decorated the tables with them.
